AusDSRC, an industry-driven national cluster, aims to seek and achieve the allocation of the 5.9GHz radio frequency spectrum for DSRC and act as a catalyst for intelligent transport systems (ITS) applications demanding secure, wireless broadband capability

Our Role

Consistent with the US and Europe, support the allocation of wireless spectrum in the 5.9GHz band
Seek to adopt globally agreed standards to ensure OEM interoperability
Stimulate the development of a range of ITS systems and solutions addressing political, economic, social and environmental issues relating to congestion, energy-use, and emissions in Australia
Foster a collaborative multi-sectoral approach to DSRC initiatives
Champion private sector engagement, research partnerships and government participation through regular events and other marketing activities
Promote Australia as a ‘test-bed’ for new and innovative applications based on DSRC
