Facilitating the next wave of intelligent transport systems

AusDSRC, an industry-driven national cluster, aims to seek and achieve the allocation of the 5.9GHz radio frequency spectrum for DSRC and act as a catalyst for intelligent transport systems (ITS) applications demanding secure, wireless broadband capability

Our Role

  • Seek to adopt globally agreed standards to ensure OEM interoperability
  • Stimulate the development of a range of ITS systems and solutions addressing political, economic, social and environmental issues relating to congestion, energy-use, and emissions in Australia
  • Foster a collaborative multi-sectoral approach to DSRC initiatives
  • Champion private sector engagement, research partnerships and government participation through regular events and other marketing activities
  • Promote Australia as a ‘test-bed’ for new and innovative applications based on DSRC
